The missing link

The missing link is generally accepted as having two parts:

  1. Inconclusive fossil evidence connecting Homo sapiens to other life on the planet.
  2. And the existence of an obvious evolutionary gap between humans today and other life.

But there is a third factor to be considered:

  1. Humanity is not in tune with this environment like other life is.

Evolution has adapted all life to fit the environment. However, mankind is an exception. Whilst we surpass all other species with our acquired intelligence, millions of years of supposed evolution has poorly equipped our bodies to cope. Survival here, depends on essential protection from the harsh environment. Problems concern almost every part of our bodies. Eyes, skin, bones and even our physical agility and strength are all inadequately designed.

Why?

Fortunately, mankind is able to overcome the difficulties because of intelligence. But, how did our predecessors survive without it. Where is our natural place? Did we evolve in the environment we now occupy? Or, are we partly from somewhere else?
